Writing As A Tool That Everyone Can Benefit From Good...

I have become to notice, through my English 1101 class, that writing well is a tool that everyone can benefit from. Good writers will tell of an occasion in which their talent has earned them advancement; an advancement that comes to play not only in the job market but also for personal satisfaction. Fortunately, writing is a skill that can be practiced to a point at which near flawlessness is reached. The many sides of writing can seem quite overwhelming to the novice, like myself. The aspect of writing that most people are unaware of is the fact that it is actually broken down into just a few basic principles. Those principles are, be clear, be yourself, have correct grammar, have style, and practice. Before I began college I did not like writing. I believed writing was intended for authors and law makers. I also believed that writing should not be taught. Those beliefs were so wrong, thankfully I soon realized the importance of writing. Writing is a form of communication that can take everyone too many places. I want to be truthful, for me, writing was frustrating before I began college. Many times I had trouble writing about anything. The main reason why I had so much trouble when writing, was because I did not concentrate on my work enough. Even when I tried my hardest to concentrate, my mind seemed to wonder around to different directions towards other thoughts.
